The Allard neighbourhood is part of the Heritage Valley area in Southwest Edmonton. Development began in 2009 and is near completion.
The neighbourhood is bounded by 41st Avenue SW on the south, James Mowatt Trail on the west, 30th Ave SW on the north, and the Blackmud Creek Ravine on the east.
The overpass at Highway 2 and 41st Street SW provides easy access in and out of Allard.
For all the nature enthusiasts, Allard boasts an abundance of green space, with many kilometers of paved paths, and we also connect with the Blackmud Creek Ravine trails.
Outdoor Skating Rink
We are very fortunate that the developer, MLC Land, generously built an outdoor skating rink for the community to enjoy. The rink is currently managed by the Blackmud Creek Community League. It features professional grade boards, floodlights, and a concrete base. Please visit blackmudcreek.com for more information.
We are home to Dr. Lila Fahlman School which provides programming for students in Kindergarten to Grade 9. The original playground has recently undergone an expansion that nearly doubled its size to accommodate the growing neighbourhood.
Dr. Anne Anderson High School is located just across James Mowatt Trail and will be opening in 2021/22.
There are many amenities within a couple minutes drive at the Heritage Valley Town Center, including restaurants, grocers, and personal services. For more information, please visit Heritage Valley Town Centre.
